Anti-Drooling Ceremony

“收涎” is a traditional ceremony held when a baby is four months old. Ancient people believed that babies start teething and produce more saliva at this time. Therefore, they hold the Anti-drooling ceremony (“收涎”) to pray for the baby to “collect” the saliva and grow up in good health.
